My name is Stef Sojka, MPH, CHES.  I’m happy you are here! I want to share my story and my background with you so that you can have the confidence in knowing that I have been in your shoes.

I have a Master’s Degree in Public Health, am a Certified Health Education Specialist, Metabolic Balance® Practitioner, Licensed RESTART® Instructor.

I am a  mom of two young children and of three rescue dogs.  Along with my husband we run a very crazy household!

I coach women on how to overcome weight-loss resistance, boost their metabolism, decrease inflammation in the body caused by the wrong food, and balance their blood sugars – without giving up treat meals and REAL food! I want to help women so that they look and FEEL healthy based on a sustainable basis.

Hello . . . 

My name is Stef and I’m a Nutrition Educator & Wellness Coach.  I love hosting my Real Food, Sugar Detox Challenges to help people break up with sugar and processed foods … for good!  Once you feel how these foods are numbing your tastebuds and causing inflammation in your body, you will be deterred from inviting them back into you life. 

First, let’s get this out of the way . . .  I LOVE food! 

Probably just like you, I didn’t want to be forced to give up some of the foods I loved.  But after I cut out the chemical-laden foods that were full of sugar, my tastebuds actually perked up and changed.  New and different foods (healthy ones) taste so much better to me now and I actually enjoy eating them. 

I’ve spent years trying to find out what to eat so that I can stay pain-free and off my Arthritis injections and keep my blood sugar balanced.  I am off my medications now and realize how quickly my pain, bloating, fatigue, brain fog, and weight gain can come back when I eat processed foods and SUGAR! 

I used to wake up not being able to stand up straight when I got out of bed in the morning when I was only in my early 30s!  I couldn’t even open a jar or hold my toothbrush until at least a couple of hours after waking because my hands were so weak and swollen.  At the time, I didn’t know that dairy was inflammatory to my body.  And it wasn’t just the dairy that was the problem.  It was the SUGAR and processed, fake foods.  They were creating all kinds of chronic inflammation in my body.   

Eating excess sugar is HIGHLY inflammatory.  All excess sugar that you eat is immediately turned into fat in the body. 

ALL SUGAR YOU EAT IS EXCESS SUGAR!

In our virtual workshop, we’ll get to know one another when we ‘meet’.  This format is casual and allows flexibility so that we can get to know one another for a more supportive atmosphere in our  group!

We’re in this together!  We’ll share wins, struggles, recipes, and more!  Getting healthy together in a supportive environment makes it fun and helps you reach your wellness goals.  

You will have email support from me in between the weekly classes so that you can have any questions answered right when you need help. You’ll also receive daily tips, education, and video lessons from me.  You will not be doing this alone!
